I'm 31 with a wife and kids. My primary friend group is my high school friend group, of which 3 still live with their parents, 1 just got married this year, and 1 is still trying to live out teenage fantasies while he girlfriend is begging for a ring.

You have your entire 20s to figure out how to jumpstart your life. If you are approaching 30 and don't already have: a high paying job, a faithful partner, or children you are a literal anchor to society.

My 30 year old NEET friends are still trying to re-invent themselves. Going to the gym, posting selfies on social media, going to the bar every weekend. It's literally not hard to be married with kids, and still have fun like a normal adult. Except now I get to fuck my wife, raise disciplined children, and get to play with all the cool things I couldn't afford at 20.
