Reminds me of the time I found a hundo on the ground in the store when I was unemployed. I thought I was fucking dreaming because thats like some hypothetical scenario type shit. I picked it the fuck up because conveniently literally no one was in the aisle, I told myself I was gonna hold onto it and wait around to see if someone came through looking around on the floor and shit. I waited around like 20 more minutes than I needed and a gal came through, she was walking up and down the isle looking through shit but not on the ground. I thought about asking her if it was hers but then it hit me that pretty much anyone would just say yes, and if I gave it to the clerk to hold incase someone came asking for it i'd basically just be giving it to clerk to keep. The minute they dropped that hundo it was as good as gone, no matter who got it and there was no morally right way out of it at that point. The way I see it, even though it wasn't mine god blessed me by putting it in front of me. it was gone the moment the person dropped it, and it wasn't ever going to get back to them, but I found it so it was my lucky day. Sometimes you get blessed in fucked up ways. Moral of the story is if you see money on the ground and you didn't see who dropped it, it's your lucky day because it's not the original person's anymore at that point, the universe decided it's yours through no fault of your own. Take it and keep it.

If you lost a hundo would you be checking on the shelves and stopping to peruse the products or would you be in hot pursuit scanning the ground? Literally no one was acting like the latter after like a half hour of me literally just standing around. I did laps around the store checking people out to see if they were scanning the ground. Literally no one was. The owner probably already left the store and drove off and it wouldn't have been there if they noticed and came back, with or without me.
