The biggest problem is that women still work full time 9 to 5s with shitty useless degrees and the debt that comes from them while dating men who make way more than them, so even though the time spent working is the same the man is still paying for way more. This could be fixed with one of three ways:
1. Women become housewives again
2. Women get better careers and become willing to date men with shitty jobs or even no jobs (househusbands)
3. Women shut the fuck up and accept they have the shittier job and should compensate for that in other ways

The probem is women literally don't want to do any one of those three things, all of those are completely off the board for them.

I was always of the opinion that I should pay for everything but I've never been on a date in my life so I may be out of the loop.

I have come to the same conclusion as her but as a man.
I've realized that I cannot be the kind of person whom women are attracted to. So I remove myself from the equation. I don't try to talk or interact with them in any kind of romantic context.
