I don't think it's true. There are many other wens that depict completely different representations of women. There are even smaller ones that have completely abstract shapes. Archaeologists lean more toward the fertility cult theory. But they could also have been amulets (some of them parts of necklaces). There is a theory that the Venus of Willendorf was a self-portrait due to its proportions.

Not reall. The belly isn't rounded like in the photo. It's flattened, as the skin folds react. Likewise, legs and thighs are simply fat, breasts are hanging, not firm like those during pregnancy. A pregnant body often has more fat, which is why it resembles the body of Venus, but not because it is meant to represent a pregnant woman. I see how fat looks on my thighs and waist. The waist and thighs wouldn't look like that if this woman were simply pregnant. The fat literally moves to the sides, which doesn't happen when a skinny person is pregnant. You have to be fat to be such a ball. And I don't mean that offensively.

That is not how a woman's perspective of her own ass works lmao and it doesn't even help the point, of course the crafter of the statue was a man. Also the photographed woman has very unfortunate proportions and is probably fugly and fat when not pregnant.
