I meant if I saw the guy that was defending the woman get stabbed. Americans would be justified in shooting the stabber in most states (not if he turns his back and runs away, of course). Yes, it happened so quickly, that the guy had no way of knowing it would happen. Anyway, most people would be careful of doing that shit when they know private citizens carry guns around.
