Im gonna start school soon again and now im pretty much a fucking adult im so scared. I cant socialize for shit desu,, i dont HAVE to. I dont initiate conversation but i can if i have to,, i want to make a friend this year tho. Its a new big school and i got to have some fucking friend somewhere i swear itll make my day pass way quicker im just so stupid when it comes to that i get all nervous and fucked how i do i make friends???????? I visites my folks and they gave pretty much useless advice im already mourning the next weeks and my job oh my god urghhhahhaahhahaha

Honestly, I became 'social' when I realised everyone else was also awkward and anxious. When you're standing in front of the classroom, stand next to someone who is also there alone. After a while, just tell them 'hi, I'm femanon'. Ask them something about themselves, ask them things you are interested in about them. Be interested. And smile. Tell them what's on your mind, as long as it's not obviously insulting to them. Don't be scared of showing your personality. If they're worth being friends with, they'll appreciate your retardation. If they don't, they're not worth being friends with anyway. It's a natural normie repellant.
Try to talk to many people. What I've found is that most people are flattered that someone wants to talk to them and is interested in them in the first place.

Also I forgot to mention this: Despite what anons say, most people are decent. Just beware of manipulative moids because they prey on insecure girls. Other than that, you can absolutely make friends with people of any gender. I'm a guy who went from a social outcast to a popular guy within a few months in high school by just being nice to people, caring about them and having a personality for them to be interested in as well.
And despite what some anons in this thread say, people are worth it.
