If there is a difference between shitposting and shooting up churches, when does something become too extreme to be considered shitposting? Like throwing cold water on couples you see walking on the sidewalk and retreating back into the bushes isn't the same as shooting up a church.

I think the ultraviolent pornsick troon cult that spreads on websites like this and bluesky probably does present a threat to society, but I don't think there necessarily has to be harsher regulations on anonymity to do so. I'm pretty sure plenty of anons over the years were arrested for alluding to threats on here that weren't namefags, whatever system is in place now probably just isn't being utilized as much as it could. Also discord, iirc this troon shooter and a handful of other 4chan adjacents have sketchy servers they hang around in and discuss mass shootings, discord probably shares more responsibility with these shooters than 4chan directly. I mean there's literally dozens of these servers that engage in posting minors nudes, nothing ever gets done about that either. Maybe focus on more private circles like that rather than choking general anonymity.
