Being average looking is worse than being ugly
Relationships are harder to maintain when you are average. Your partner will eventually leave you for someone better. You are not too ugly to date but you are not good looking enough to not get cheated on. Your partner will always talk about wanting someone better. Making friends with people feels like a task. Ugly people can meet others who are just as lonely and desperate, they can build a real bond because they understand the feeling of being alone. When you are average you are nothing special. You get no pity or sympathy. You are just a background character trying to survive. Ugly people live the same day every day with nothing to look forward to, but they can still find someone in their league. Being average is survival of the fittest, constant comparison, always replaceable, always having to prove yourself just to matter.
