>went to leasing office to report a leak that's been going on in my bathroom since Friday
>hispanic lady there has a bit of an attitude
that's just how they are, ok
>send out maintenance crew...an Indian with military-grade B.O. and seriously can't understand English
>WALKS ON MY FUCKING FLOOR WITH HIS SHOES ON (probably for the best)
>contractors show up, also Indian, smell decent, and assure me they'll do the job today while I'm at work
ok, cool...not wild about people in my place while I'm gone, but ok.
>asshole Nigerian at work takes up an attitude with me...loudly
>other African coworker has an attitude as well
...okay...at least I have that fixed leak to look forward to
>get home, leak and ceiling STILL not fixed, floor's a mess
I don't think I want to pretend anymore.

What's with the constant shouting? It's like this man in particular learned how to speak in an airport or train station. ALL the time, shouting.

nta, but thankfully for me, I have documented proof of PTSD and autism with HR. Anyone who does that with me (even if it isn't directed at me) around gets disciplinary action. Under the ADA, they have to make reasonable workplace accommodations for me. Lower voices and not yelling is an easily accommodating that they said they would do anyway without the medical proof. However, since I have it on file, it can easily be a fireable offense now.

Sometimes you just have to learn how to work the system.

I'm the pariah of my workplace (mostly because I just show up and work instead of bumping gums for 8 hours), to the point that even ER (employee-relations) isn't on my side.

Well, I guess I'll continue to keep my distance, then.

>I'll continue to keep my distance, then
yeah its probably better that way desu.
i had to keep my distance from the white and mexican chads at my construction job because they always form cliques and lie on people for HR points
