Is the CS job market really that bad that people are developing roblox games and working retail because they can't get an actual CS job?

I live in Midwest but with surge of h1bs, offshoring and investment drying up or going to Nazi the tech job market is a mess. Plus entry tier or junior devs have it tough but im planning on getting Cisco certified and bunch of other certs to get a IT job but in mean time i make money off Roblox and part timer at Walmart.
