I can understand why it might feel like a chore though. I grew up very dysfunctional, I barely knew how to use an oven until my late teenage years.
I started cooking as a way to feel like I'm doing something, like accomplishing something. It felt like a personal journey, even doing sausages on the pan for the first time felt like a big deal, since my dysfunctional self found it daunting (I know)
Thing is, if my mom had like made me cook from a young age, if I hadn't been the one to get myself in to it, I can imagine it might've felt like a chore.
It's the same with a lot of things... they're fun when you do them yourself, but they're not so fun if you're being made to it.
Anyway I'm yapping.
>I'm actually very good at cooking and love doing it
That's good to hear. I still suck, but I'm getting better lol
What kinda stuff do you make, anon?
