in dota ive played only position 1 for most of my gaming career
medusa, antimage, jug, luna, sniper, furion, spectre i loved

in the last 3 months i only played supports seriously. clockwerk and vengeful spirit. super fun. the was the only time in my life where i enjoyed playing support

its a team game, and you win and lose by playing your role and part well
and usually the best and really only way to do that is if you love it. you love your role, you love your character your playing, you love what you do. your love carries you to higher elo/mmr

thats how i climbed on carry, and thats how i climb and win on any role. and if i lose my love? i cant win
i lost passion for position 1 for 3 months despite only having playing position 1 for over a decade, and i just couldnt win. every game is a loss. i found passion for position 4/5, and i gained 600 mmr from those roles in 3 months

your love carries you, and if you love playing support, then you're a support player. just that simple

im an old man and got washed at games so now i just play support because im not good enough for anything else

is the difference between a won lane and a lost lane. is the difference between the offlaner having to back home twice early or getting freefarm

is the difference between your mid winning or not

all roles are very impactful, its just that some are more impactful (mid roles, playmakers)

you should always play what you love, and let the rest of it sort itself out. even at silver or 10 mmr

im 6k social score and 8k behavior score. im trying to reach 12 of each, thats my goal. its so hard for me not to flame or tell my team not to kill themselves, and im a 30+ kv. every time its so hard, but im trying to practice temperance and not just crash out everytime someone makes a mistakes. i stopped muting everyone and just always try to endure people's verbal abuse. im super sensitive to it

and for clock, i got "hare of the cogs" skin and i fell in love with it. "bunnymaxxer" i call it. i love my bunnymaxxer so much, i have so much fun with him. i have 200 games on him. a low win rate 52.8% but idk hes my highest win rate support, i always lose with any other support
