The problem is factory work has become too efficient that its stealing jobs from potential workers. Were producing the same amount of stuff but with half the required labor. You cant just create fake jobs as an excuse to pay somebody money. Food and housing should probably be free at this point, the reason its not is because of angry boomers who believe the world hasnt changed.

Realistically, the only way forward for humanity is probably some degree of eugenics. It sucks but that's how it is. If we don't "need" so many people, then we need to start selecting for certain genetics. Intelligence, compassion, creativity, et cetera. Personality and intelligence are as genetically loaded as physical appearance. Our old ways of viewing the world, entire concepts like tabula rasa and liberty need rethinking. You and I probably won't have our genetic lines continue, but does that REALLY matter?

Of course, the people in charge are already putting this in motion. The issue is that it's not benevolent lovers of mankind, it's psychopathic tech elites and financial elites conspiring against and with each other in equal measure to create a slave caste instead of a heightened species.

The US has the greatest banking system on the planet and also the strongest economy on the planet, that's not a coincidence. Honestly I have been consistently employed since 15. Lifeguard, ice cream shop employee, cashier. Went to a public university, got a non useless bachelors in nursing and immediately got a job as an RN after at the university hospital. Then i got into the masters in nursing program which was fully paid for by the university hospital. Finished that program last month and about to start a job as a NP that is 112k salary in a rural low cost of living area. Only 16k in debt from my BSN program. My only gripe about the economy is rent prices are too fucking high and it is fucking impossible to buy a house as a young family.
