cats drag litter all over the house, even with the mats that you set outside of their litterbox. The little bastards even jump up on your furniture and onto your kitchen counters (where you prepare your food) with their litter ridden paws, and depending on the cat litter you use, it'll make the whole floor smell like cat litter. I'm not sure where this idea comes from that cats are super clean animals, because their idea of bathing is liking themselves. If I licked myself all over would you consider me clean? Don't get me wrong I get that their tongues are textured for it but that's still not clean. Cats are great, they're cute too, don't get me wrong, but they're not any cleaner than most dogs. Maybe the dogs that drool all over the place are dirtier for that reason, but that's not all dogs.
