why are people so obsessed with loneliness? you are gonna spend large portions of your life on the side lines with nothing to do, then maybe you get some big project or something you work on and then your ass goes back to the sidelines for 8 years or something. it reminds me of how medieval peasants worked. they only worked for a couple of seasons then spent the majority of their time, months and months just lazing around.

it seems to be more of a western thing to me. japan has a hikki/NEET crisis. do you think their parents are constantly chewing them out about not having a job? when i was a NEET for 2 years out of highschool my family would terrorize me about not having a job. i've had 5 jobs since and am NEET again. but when i see these videos on youtube the hikki's seem to have nice parents who respect their NEET ways. at least on camera. but they, as people seem to not grill their kids about it.

i walked hundreds of miles to look for jobs, drove illegally for years and am still in that lowest tier wagie position where i get a job, have it for 1-8 months then quit or get let off or the place closes or something. that' s just who i am. i've been NEET for a year again and i actually want a job now because i need it.
