This is the problem with zoomers and alphas. The monoculture is gone. There's no shared experience. There's 8000 Netflix shows and you're lucky if you see 3% of them. No one knows who the fuck anything is.
If I show a Gen X or millennial Homer Simpson, George Costanza, Neo from the Matrix, Shrek, fucking Dr. Zoidberg. They instantly recognize them. We have a shared culture, a shared way of thinking, we're a group of people that identify with each other.
Alphas get on the internet, they don't recognize shit, half the people they're communicating with could be on the other side of the fucking planet. Nothing matters. It's just "stuff". "Things". Quickly forgotten junk no one else cares about.
