There are a lot of people like this out there, they might try to justify it to themselves by saying "oh he was a bad person" (based on how you look not anything immoral you have done), but more often they know it is wrong and simply don't care. These people, medical professionals, who swore the Hippocratic oath, single you out and deliberately set out to hurt you. They then go back to their family and friends, buy their kid some candy or something and tell themselves they are "good people". It is quite literally evil.
