mammals don't pair bond, that includes primates. Human females hate the idea of fatherhood and having male presence or male paternal investment(except for sending resources from a distance) in their offspring. To them it feels unnatural, a construct.

i agree, feels like what happened to me. having an absent or shit mother really messes up your emotional state and handicaps you developmentally, the worst part is your perception of women is warped because of it. i'm sure some people get past it, but not me.
