You just don't know how to handle them. You basically have to be a high functioning sociopath around them, I won't get into specifics (it's more complicated) but once you can consistently withstand their bullshit and use their emotions against them, they become obsessed with you and will literally die for you.

I like how BPD's all seem to have a dark brooding vibe and are some of the most creative people I've ever met, I like how they have no pretensions and are down for anything (like normal people will be "too good" or "too mature" for something but not a bpd).
The problem with them is they're experts at casual cruelty. They will be pretend to be your best friend and then be extremely dismissive of you in the meanest way possible.
I have next to zero pity for BPD's and when I run into them I go into full sociopath mode and try harm them as much as possible, because the best medicine for bpd is humility and harsh "wake up calls". It's literally for thier own good, because deep down they are good people (ironically they're more good then normies) but they're fucked up emotionally and can only learn via pain.

Listen a bpd is like an ocean, most days it's calm but then the hurricane eventually comes, if you don't set sail directly into the eye storm you'll get swept away and capsized.

It's not about making them feel bad anon, it's about pavlovian training. I've seen them do really stupid stuff lol, like throw $2,000 out a car window or burn their family heirlooms (going back generations). In those moments they need immediate pain so that they learn instinctually not to do it again. You don't rub it in, you don't become mean about it, you do it with no emotion in a cynical way. And you reward good behavior.
