Why does society tell me I can't be both cute and masculine at the same time
Or in other words, why does society always act like being cute or nice or innocent is opposed to male identity

I mean I know why, it's because we live in a deeply misandrist country, but still

I really want to be cute, in like a puppy-dog kind of way. I want to be attractive to women and make them feel safe around me. I also want to be strong, and responsible, and I want people to treat me with respect without me needing to force them to.

Why does it feel like your only options as a male are either to be infantalized or feared? What the fuck man?

I'm sorry this probably makes no sense to read. I don't really understand how to describe it myself. Maybe I could describe it as

"I want to be desired without having to make myself smaller or more palatable to others"

It doesn't. There's only masculine.

This is exactly what I mean. Women try to make every unique male trait out to be just rape and killing all the time

because men aren't seen as people and you're not allowed to feel emotion or do anything that could inconvenience a woman's rape fantasy (except rape them, unless you're chad)
