I remember taking a logic class in high school. I thought it was the easiest, most self-explanatory shit of all time. There was a particular quiz(I think the last small quiz before the final) where the entire class except maybe 5 people failed outright. Cs. Not Es. Failed. Me and one other person got 100+ points due to an extra credit question.

Ever since then I've wondered how society even keeps functioning.

And honestly, they don't care about what you have to say...but they don't really care about what anyone, even their "friends" have to say either.

Here are some things that cause this to happen:

1. You said something specific about anything, instead of saying vague shit like they do
2. You said something that was cross-contextual that the people didn't understand
3. You didn't speak loudly enough
4. You didn't fully assemble a complete and easy to understand thought and then say it
5. You have been cut off or ignored too many times that it affects the loudness and cadence that you say things, so the people or person tunes out too early in your sentence to catch the gist of it
6. You talk about anything that isn't their direct interest, gossip, or something that displays your status or decreases the status of another person
7. The person has a low opinion of you
8. If at work, you lack status or power and can be safely ignored without consequence
9. You don't have anything they want (like status, connections, expensive clothes, a car for them to get free rides from, a cool place for them to party or do drugs)
10. You said something honest or direct and they didn't want to engage with it
11. You said something that was too smart
12. They said something shallow and your comment attempted to add depth instead of be equally shallow, therefore signalling that you think you're better than them and/or you don't know the dance
13. You haven't sucked up to people they like in previous interactions before your most recent one
14. You are wearing low quality clothes or look unkempt and therefore of lower status

You are ultimately dealing with monkeys that are not very smart and there are definitely more than 14 of these. You are essentially failing their normie tests in one or many ways (probably many) and as a result, they will treat you like garbage.
