After WW2 one of the ways the German population was reeducated was that there would be daycares for children where the children weren't forced to go to the toilet because it was thought that if you're not allowed to shit on the floor whenever you want you get traumatized and will eventually go from wanting to keep yourself and your surroundings clean to wanting racial purity for your country. The west German government also did experiments where they gave orphans to pedophiles to see if their attraction would make them better parents (I wonder who came up with that idea) and who then in the end of course mostly raped them.
