Joke's on her, I have no friend groups and even when I had a friend group, I was detached from the hierarchy because I have actual autism. I can't imagine ever being bossed around by anybody, or even told what to do outside of a professional context. Even within that professional context, I tend to file explicit commands under "suggestions".

Hierarchy does exist in younger male social groups. There's nearly always obviously someone "in charge". It's just less apparent than in female social groups. The difference is that men rarely get actually upset about it, and when they do, they tell you instead of beating around the bush.

I ruined the beginning of a fling by thinking that when she came to visit me at my university we should drink together with my friends at university in order to prove to her that I'm a normal person and have friends.

At work I have very high performance and I'm good at what I do. Naturally, in time, I ended up with people that answered or looked up to me and I had no problems with any of them except one very insecure guy. Never treated them poorly or thought less of them because of it, at or outside of work

I wouldn't say I have no ego at all, but a lot of the time if I find someone that does something better or has something that I want, I think to myself: "how can I also achieve that" rather than wishing him ill or thinking less of myself
