How long since you have visited a 1950s style diner, anons?

It's been a really long time, because the main little chain of them around here went out of business. I don't even know where one is now, it's kinda sad. I miss going there with my grandpa and listening to him reminisce.

Its only been a couple years, I'm really lucky to have one near me. I just wish I had someone to go with. I miss going there on a winter morning with him.

I think it's been about 8 years, I kinda want to go again, but why? I can eat at home, make the same food just as good if not better for cheaper, atmosphere, sure, but I got pictures at home.

Years ago, the classic American diner is dying which sucks because 24/7, family owned, greasy spoons should always be an option anywhere in the states. All that's left are the corporate chains and they have significantly less soul.
