I've been doing the opposite for the last 10 years and it has worked. Keeping myself permanently sexually satisfied has eliminated my desire for IRL women and relationships. My standards have also gone up from fapping to incredibly beautiful women that I could never get IRL.
But what finally made me content was getting my 1st job and seeing how normies talk about their women. Literally none of them is happy and it has opened my eyes to how flawed, expensive, annoying and boring women tend to be.

I have a professional career and an upcoming degree program to worry about. I wrote off my losses with women in my early 20s, I'm 28 now and I'm getting interest from all sorts of women. I try to be busy with things. But then there are moments where I'm alone with my thoughts and they immediately drift to it, and I get very depressed. So then I again try to occupy myself with something else. Anything to not think about it.
