I'm atheist and used to be very supportive of trannies like ten, fifteen years ago because I saw them as hated outcasts who are actually cool people. I still don't hate them now but I'm definitely less on board with it since it became a bigger thing, purely because most of them just turned out to be really shitty unpleasant people in most ways. I think it's just a sad fact of humanity that any group, whenever given any amount of power, immediately turn out to be cunts to others

the conservative position is that the mythology is a common resource for cultural memory and the occasional life lesson. whether it actually happened or not isn't the point.
the fundamentalist position isn't necessarily the conservative position. conservatives leave that bullshit for the moslems.
