As I get older I understand why Stalin was just purging old bolsheviks and people who would spread any form of degeneracy. I remember when I was first reading about Stalin I thought that he was harsh for the political views that he held and "harsh" for the conditions that some people faced in his gulags. Now that I'm older, more mature, now that I've lived life for what it is, I think that he wasn't harsh enough. The fact that a person like Trotsky was allowed to live as long as he did was a mistake and it was even more of a mistake that a person such as Khrushchev was able to come to power and completely downplayed the role of the doctors plot against Soviet officials.
Every. Little. Thing. Can be traced back to those decisions, those decisions of revisionism vs the truth, or if I am to be more clear Trotskism vs Stalinism. Some in the west think this is conversation is "irrelevant" but that is only because of the fact that they have lived their whole lives as unconscious men and women in a society that has downplayed the role of the Soviet Union ever since the bolshevik revolution of 1917. Are we men "cruel" for wanting to take revenge on not just the Trotskists of today but even the people who enabled them? Maybe, maybe not, that is for the progeny of tomorrow to judge, but all I know is that this normalization of degeneracy and escapism cannot last and that's because one can only run from their problems so long until they start to get tired, sore, and even collapse.
What happens when man collapses but still wants to run? What happens when man wants to keep running even though he knows the truth that his society is nothing but a scam and a falsehood? Look into the killings of innocent civilians who got massacred during their occupation under Nazi rule, under Kuomintang rule, white army rule, etc, etc, and that's what happens. If man never fights, he might as well be seen as useless useless.
