It's the direct opposite. The mainstream is entirely atheist, and the school system brings you up as progressive fundamentalists from birth.
There is literally nothing more conformist than left-of-center atheism.

i'd be less concerned about conformism than believing in some old magical book. anyways, if there's no afterlife, you're not finding anything when you die.
