>gun control is a distraction and completely ineffective
No shit it's a distraction
>it's not the gun but the human wielding it who pulls the trigger
And this is a subtler distraction
The phrase "gun control" alone instantly oneshots normies instantly into mindless gibberbabble for hours about nothing. Just like the phrases "liberal democrats" and "conspiracy theory." Shills invoke it like a magic spell because you have demonstrated empirically that it works. To their delight even the dumbest retards can be trained to start shilling for them, for free. That twitter guy's single point about germany or whatever should be enough to put the topic to bed, right? But we're not rational, we're emotional. We aren't a creature that looks into things to solve problems.
Meanwhile, European spirituality is reduced to smolders, and this once European empire/hegemony has been infiltrated and totally occupied by a foreign race and they're exploiting it for all of the material wealth it's worth until foreign countries react to your passport like it's a Hatian's even if you wanted to escape.
IMO nothing ever happens except slow ineluctable decline. Maybe if you (plural) had autonomy and will as a collective people, something might happen, but you don't presently because you're so easily shepherded by the smoke and mirrors so nothing will change unless a critical mass willing to dedicate their lives to politics can understand this.
