Even if our society worked on the basis of physical might and everyone's position in the hierarchy was determined by how much they can lift, there would still be the winners at the top and the losers at the bottom. Same thing if the ranking was based on IQ tests, or looks or video game speedrunning. The existence of winners and losers is a consequence of individual genetic variation in conjunction with their environment, which gives rise to different traits. The only thing that changes is what traits are considered good and how much they are valued. Once famine strikes your African tribes are happy to prioritize the wise elders, the strong hunters and the fertile females over the less useful members.

I disagree. In my view the hierarchy is not strict enough in Western countries, primarily because of humanism, advanced healthcare and welfare systems. There should not be psychotic niggers running around stabbing young women in the neck unprovoked. The only reason those people exist is because we coddle them. If such a person had been born in earlier more hierarchical societies they would starved to death or been exiled or executed due to their antisocial behavior before any of this could have happened. Same thing with people who are so messed up physically or mentally that they cannot meaningfully contribute anything to society. Before the advent of modern medicine those people wouldn't even have lived to adulthood, but now they're not only surviving but popping out more dysfunctional kids who go on to perpetuate the cycle. Modern society is profoundly dysgenic and that will eventually be its downfall. I don't mind taxing billionaires to build roads or bridges but their wealth should not simply be spread around.
