Why do zoomers seem to hate cooming so much? Like they seem to genuinely hate anything that is pleasurable. I get thinking people should be responsible but zoomers now seem to think any kind of eroticism or fun is evil and that people should just work all day every day then come home and work some more. Well you know an overcorrection in one way (oversexualization) always gets balanced by an overcorrection in the other way (modern puritanism). It's not just oversexualization though, there are quite a lot of sexually-facilitating liberalisms in the social and political space that are correcting the other way currently, adding to it. Also imo it's a gendered thing, Gen Z and Alpha women seem to think about sex just like the millenial whores before them, modern puritanism is a male thing. I attribute it to 1) at least a third of 18-29 men not even asking out anyone at least a year, much less having a date or sex; 2) social media making easily visible the gender disparity in worth and opportunities in the sexual/relationship marketplace; 3) female mate selection freedom reverting relationship bonds to harem-like structures with one high value man and many women (see the studies of historically only one man making offspring for 8-17 women depending on the studies).

All that is to say: Sex, relationships, dating, even any female presence at all functionally does not exist in a lot of modern men's lives. The most they see it all is as some unattainable thing you just scroll past on your phone with no relation to their real life. They simply don't have anything to do with it, eroticism never existed in their lives beyond those highly uncomfortable hollywood slop sex scenes. So how would they be able to relate to people that think of or really want sex? They can't. It's not a tangible thing at all for them.
