/a/ mods work really hard to make sure /a/ doesn't become /pol/ or /r9k/ and I thank them for it. It's nice going to /a/ and seeing threads that are actually about anime. One of the few boards where they actually remove low effort bait and trolling.
You can go to /tv/ and 90% of the threads are just /pol/ threads with the vague veneer of being related to a TV show.

there's been some change in the moderation. getting banned for racism outside of /b/ is a thing again. also posting cute lgs (as long as they're not doing anything lewd or showing too much skin) doesn't get you banned like it once did
