I close my eyes and I feel you on me kissing. I'm going to shower and go to the garage and work on the cable cabinets im building. I cut all the sheet metal and drilled the mounting holes. I'm now painting it with hammered paint. I'm also playing the last layer of epoxy around the bolts on the wall lumber storage mounts I built.

Picked up a new diamond tip blade because I was getting a lot of kickback with the metal cutting tool. I used the large mounted grinder to help with the burrs and smooth everything out evenly but it was a bit too much with the angling and it would catch and kick back the metal. Luckily it only caused a small dent and I was able to rubber hammer it out. So I hand filed the rest of the pieces.

I am drunk. That is all! The good times have passed but I am drunk!

A lot of the parts for my tactical helmet arrived. Two of the side mounted lights were delivered in red instead of black in the back mounted light turns out it was battery driven and not rechargeable so I will need to find a replacement for that. Otherwise all of the ark mounts, double layered "quick clips" I made and the spring loaded 360 arc arms arrived. My earmuffs also arrived, they block out 24 decibels of sound. They also have active noise canceling, so that is more a comfort than a health benefit. I need to strip off the headband and pull the wire out so I can attach them to the spring loaded arc arms. My visor has also not arrived yet. Have to wait until the 24th or so until the base helmet arrives. I think I'll also be buying another build to attached to the back of the helmet so I can pull the front off with the quick clips and swap to the second setup as needed.

I'm still looking into what I want to do for the screen behind the face mask mouth. It is there to protect me from the Sparks when cutting metal but the wire mesh on the front needs to be taken care of. I will be building active (active means powered) ventilation there. I think I'll be cutting a piece of acrylic and drilling a bunch of small holes throughout it and gluing it in place. Then buying a small slimline but powerful face mask mounted ventilation intake on one side and an outtake fan on the other side. The outtake fan may be difficult to find. Also need some form of clips to mount replaceable soft face masks as the back filter.
I would also like to mount a microphone on the inside and a small speaker to the helmet so that when I speak it will project out without me having to take off the mask. I'll need something with action noise canceling. I'll also have to make sure that all of the parts are able to work while corded to a small mounted battery bank, so I want to have to charge the helmet parts I can just do one plug-in into the wall. I'm hoping that the plastic on The helmet is thick enough that I can dremel routing to place the cables into to weave together the power system. Here's some more of the parts.

Is for working in the garage. So I have a pop-down visor and face mask with ventilation for grinding metal, the ability to raise and lower, quick clip mounting to remove off my face completely and mount onto the helmet. Helmet has top side (with forward and outer lights) for seeing cut lines and general work. The earmuffs are really important to use because of the large amount of noise from grinding metal and power tools.

So instead of having to grab my earmuffs every time, face mask, headlamp as separate units to take on and off, I am building it into a single unit that I can quickly grab each piece and shift it or quick clip it to change position.

While the front unit is completely custom built (piece meal),
The rear unit is a prebuilt (attached photo) that I can quick clip reverse placement with the custom built system when in use. I like to go out walking in the snow storms, but wind chill with snow that is similar to BB bullet hail is very uncomfortable, with this I can use the see-through face shield with built-in ventilation system and This will give me adequate lighting, and have hazard lighting for cars and such.

I will integrate the entire system to fit inside of my hood of my jacket. The helmet folds in half and so I'm working on a way to keep that functionality to fit it snug inside the hood.

I will need inner lighting as well. The earmuffs I purchased have Bluetooth connection but the winter mask has active ventilation where they would be placed, so I am using bone conduction speakers one placed at the back of my head at the nape of my neck, bose ultra open ear buds, side and top mounted slim speakers. I already have a neck band speaker that is woven into my jacket. So basically creating a 3D 5 channel surround sound for my music on the go. The inner lining that contains all the speakers is actually built into a baseball cap with 3d printed collapsible visor so I can pop the inner audio system out and wear it in the summers

Yes and no, it is much more expensive than just grabbing a earmuffs, face visor, headlamp when needed, but my system is so tightly integrated and all in one that they amount of time it saves me to do things plus functionality of it, it is completely worth it and makes me functionally much more capable than someone who does not have that system, which is impossible essentially for someone else to have because they would have to come up with the idea and have the same schematics and such as me which I have never found someone who does the amount of work I do with my projects. I've sewn and created custom luggage, built furniture, art, clothing. All unique to me. Essentially every piece of furniture in my home is custom built by me.

24 decibels was the best I could do to get slimline ear pads (a third the size of normal ear pads and flat outer shell) that have active noise cancellation, waterproof rating, Bluetooth with inner speakers and microphone, and rechargeable battery. For whatever reason the majority of these headsets you have to manually replace batteries. The controls for the headset need to be reachable as well with buttons that are unique to touch so I don't have to deal with 3D printed snap in button pusher.

The 24 decibels is without active noise cancellation as well. The most don't realize active noise cancellation doesn't actually stop the damage to your ears. It just tricks the brain to make things quieter.

All of the projects I do are basically end game level things. High cost but completely custom in high quality parts, engineered in a way that I'm able to take any single part out and pop in a new one as a replacement. I build it the best I can with the available parts and spend a lot of time specking things out and drafting schematics so in most cases it is the best way possible at the time of build. Overtime as new more efficient parts are available I will replace them.

Cable/power cabinets = Last coat of hammered paint in am, dry 24hr - It's thick like tar so it needs to settle to texture.

Speaker shelf (wood) =cut to length, paint hammered, wood pole clamp cut to length, paint hammered (dry 24 hr)

Desk underside cable management racks = cut down length, grind, seal, drill, bolt together + add L brackets to create hang hooks. Cut slots in desk back (paint hammered, dry 24 hour). Drill and bolt on cable routing spines.

Cable/Power Cabinet Pole Mounts = assemble, drill, bolt on cable power cabinet bases, test fit power bars, drill/bolt on cable cage on cabinet base, draw cut lines for cable routing spines pass through

Argosy Battlestation right 6" wide extension = Cut/grind/seal metal leg frame to height/depth. Drill and bolt. Cut wood top to depth, paint hammered (24 hr dry)

Some of that seems very gimmicky. Why would you want a speaker built into the bed? If I'm struggling to sleep and need white noise I blast it from a cheap bluetooth speaker next to my bed. I guess the heating aspect is cool.

I find that information really useful, but I get it off my smartwatch. I'm sure its being used for advertising purposes but whatever. as an insomniac tracking my sleep phases and oxygenation has helped me recover to the point that I can now get 5 hours of sleep a night.
