Is anyone else sick of tradlarpers and cultural Christians? I don't mind genuine believers, but it's obvious that the vast majority of modern "Christians" only profess the faith for cultural and rebellious reasons

It literally started out as just that a subversive element in the Roman Empire.

Most trad converts follow it more than the people born into it do, which is not that much. Less a lot of them are doing it to be edgy and 15 years ago they would have been fedora wearers but it's still better than that.

I have a weird philosophy on religion of "Geography/Ethnicity not Theology"

Top tier: Indigenous religions
Mid tier: Christianity
Low tier: Islam and Judaism*

I always support the highest tier present in a geographical region. (which means though in Arabia I would technically support Islam highest as it becomes an indigenous religion there)

I've seen this too, it's incredibly annoying.
The worst part is that they don't even TRY to act like Christians. I've never seen a tradlarper zoomer "convert" try to help the sick and needy - all they do is post anime girls with cross necklaces and call people degenerate.

My family just decided to follow the ancient traditions of our ancestors and get baptized idk and this Christ guy in the Gospel makes a lotta sense
