this is incorrect, cats get cat litter all over their paws and then they run around all over the place and they'll jump on your bed where you sleep and on your couch and on your counters where you prepare food and cat litter is likely to have microscopic traces of feces in it as they are shitting and pissing in cat litter and then they dig in the sand to hide the feces, also cats are untrainable. you cannot train a cat to not do something, the cat will always try to do that thing regardless. it knows that you don't want it to do something and it will choose to do it anyways, and it will not feel guilty about it.

You should get a dog. Cats being fans of physical touch are HIGHLY dependent on the cat, a lot of cats don't like it, and the ones that do like it don't always like it. all healthy dogs love being pet, and love being pet all over the place. you can't give a cat a belly rub, it will not like it, even if it tolerates it.
Dogs require more training to be socialized with others though, and they bark much more, (pro and con if you're someone who wants to be aware of everything happening in his house), and dogs' paws will get dirty too, but you can fucking clean a dog's paw without it screaming and running and jumping all over the fucking place. I fucking hate cats. I also fucking hate women, but that's because they won't fuck me.
