for instance, i've met anons here who isolate themselves so hard that they go months without talking to anyone
others are a bit too unhinged and believe in the crap being thrown around here (da jooz, genuinely racist people, etc.) but they all had some redeeming quality about them that made me look past that (e.g. some were very kind, some were really funny, had ambitious plans that made sense, etc.)
they'd be the kind of people you'd hang around, but you definitely wouldn't want your family finding out about them (or rather, the shit that made them oddities)

You want an ideal rather than weighing individuals as they come, which will always be a loss if you aren't willing to invest the time to get to know someone because of some small transgression here or there. That is ultimately the problem with dating in the modern era.
