the only times i don't have trouble is if i need to talk to them for work or studies or something, or if i'm in a public internet space like here
even then, sometimes i still have trouble saying hi, i can somewhat carry conversations but starting them is a bit much for me...

All of my friends in school were gorgeous girls. I never made advances at any of them, but I remember some of them flirting with me a few times. I think they liked me because I was the only guy who didn't hit on them.

No talking to women a easy when you stop putting them on a pedestal and realize they're just ordinary people but dumber than men and more irrational/emotional. If you can talk to children or customer service workers or coworkers or strangers you can talk to women. It's literally that easy stop over thinking it. The hard part is having a social setting and proximity to talk to young attractive women without it being creepy random and being appropriate. Even if you're physically good looking cold approaching going up to random women and making small talk is rarely ever going to lead to a date. At best you'll get a polite interaction and an excuse ("I have a boyfriend/married" etc). And it's also hard having something to even talk about as you get older unless you're a blabber mouth that talks excessively about anything it's hard to keep a conversation going or even have something relevant to start it and women put NO effort into it its all on the man to start and carry the entire interaction. It's overall not worth it that's why so many men are just giving up even looking.

general, if anything prettier girls are easier to talk to because theyre less bitter about the way chad treats them and feel less of a need to take it out on me

where I have trouble is when I am talking to a pretty available girl, or one who is a complete unknown to me.

I have a few friends with very attractive GFs, and I have no trouble talking to them because I know they aren't available and nothing is gonna happen, so the pressure is turned off.

My only advice for you would to to approach far more chicks. If you want a white girl, only approach them and do a ton of them. If you want a taller girl, only approach them and do a ton of them. I dont know how many you do per year but I can do as much as 1600.
