but my earliest memories have them, i was pretty advanced as a kid i remember seeing my cousins (raised by aunt) get beaten and it scared the shit out of me, i wondered why i didn't get beaten like that, it was a rudimentary form of awareness, i think it helps that consciousness is really about ego and i always felt different for a variety of reasons (mixed race in korea, immigrant in canada)...great for ego the idea that i am and i am different from the else (not rly)
