Why can't libtards stop taking Ls? Why choose to die on the hill of big corporations, slave labor, and undercutting the American working class? This is something I never understood about them.

Our economy is more dependent on immigrants than our transportation is on motor oil.
They'll figure out some way to keep foreign slaves in those positions.
Until you actually start shutting down corporations for trying to sneak their way around US working condition standards, Raj and Remirez are not going anywhere.

Never has been a thing since globalization. People don't have free movement for labour like companies do, and get stopped by laws, DRM, tariffs, or regulations from purchasing goods significantly cheaper. Companies got the benefits of free market labour and resources, but are always shielded from the drawbacks of consumers having true free market access. Corporations are the biggest welfare queens on earn.

Where have the claims of globalist capitalism ever come true?

- massive and growing national debts everywhere
- worse living standards
- locales filled with semi-savages that rape, murder and plunder and uhh you're a racist if you notice and object to it while the governments that imported them cover it all up

It's not a fine scale. Debt should be measured as % of GDP preferably or at least in real terms. Inflation eroding the value of the debt is an actual mechanism that needs to be taken into account. Over course the actual thing that matters is the cost of the debt relative to GDP but it's not like retard doomers are going to understand that.

It has everything to do with it, don't you remember? We bailed out the big banks in 2008 because "if we didn't the economy would have collapsed and we would have befaulted on our debt".
Also, no. The economy doesn't have to go up infinitely. Just stop deficit spending. The only reason GDP needs to keep going up is because our government is constantly going into greater and greater debt. Cut spending.
Anonymous No.82565455 [Report] >>82565473
There is no point in outsourcing jobs to foreigners if there are more workers than jobs. In the near future the average american will be so desperate to have a job that they'll put up with miserable wages and conditions to get one, and then have no choice but to work more than one job if they want anything beyond surviving. This is by design. The age of exploiting third worlders is over, the government has turned to exploit its own citizens.

>if we didn't the economy would have collapsed and we would have befaulted on our debt
You added the last part, that was not the issue at the time. We had a massive liquidity crises and many businesses would have failed to make payroll as a result. The counterfactual would be complete economic devastation that we would still not be recovered from.
>The economy doesn't have to go up infinitely

>Just stop deficit spending

>The only reason GDP needs to keep going up
Is to give us better lives. GDP per capita is everything good in the world. Denying that is absolutely ignorant.
Anonymous No.82565566 [Report] >>82565599
>>82565531
GDP per capita by itself doesn't give people a better life. To improve standards of living, the wealth produced actually has to be redistributed in some way, usually through wages. There's not much of a point in expanding GDP if all of it just goes in the hands of a few billionaires and foreigners.

Yes, there has. We're living through such a time right now. GDP per capita has never been higher, but most people feel poorer than they did in the 90s.

Anonymous No.82565712 [Report] >>82565730

Rich people have never been richer. Other people are relatively poorer than in the past because, even if income is higher than it was, inflation has outpaced income, and so purchasing power for most people has actually gone down. Pretty much the only exception to this rule in the past decades has been electronics, those are objectively cheaper than back then.

>even if income is higher than it was, inflation has outpaced income
Real median income is up though. The primary pain point is real estate which is why everyone feels poorer, but they are not actually more poor.

Having a roof over your head is a necessity, not a luxury, so if housing takes a bigger portion of your income than before, you become poorer. It's not just housing, though. Food and transportation are more expensive as well, so is education. Pretty much all the basic necessities are relatively more expensive now than before.

If everything else is cheaper then it balances out
>Food
Given how popular UberEats et al are, I don't buy that food is somehow more expensive than in the past. People eat out more often than ever before and get their stupid private burrito taxi all the time.
>transportation
Cars are still cheaper in real terms now than in the 90s and given that everyone sees the 90s as a golden age I'm a bit confused as to what they actually want.
>Pretty much all the basic necessities are relatively more expensive now than before.
You can't have higher real incomes and have everything be relatively more expensive

They also eat out in restaurants in general much less, which is why they're going out of business at a high rate.

>Cars are still cheaper in real terms now than in the 90s
Definitely not.
