I scored in the 97th percentile on the GRE (Graduate Records Examination) and had a near perfect (35) on the ACT. My SAT was similar. My father, who is a multi-millionaire due to a business his own father started and gave him an executive role in, would sometimes give me a little help & but whenever I would start to truly succeed he would sabotage me financially. He gave me bad stock advice and, when I lost my savings, (40K) he literally looked me in the eye and said, "I'm glad you lost that money."

My sister, who is not dumb but not super smart, gets free cars and constant validation from him. She is currently dating the son of a single mom (his mom has been divorced multiple times) who did not go to college. Her boyfriend has cheated on her twice. She has typical foid reasons for liking him.

My father is convinced he's going to live with my sister when he's elderly (he's told me she's his favorite and "not like other people") and is completely oblivious of the fact she doesn't respect him and mocks him behind his back.

The worst aspect is that my grandpa's going to get thrown under the bus too. He's a hard worker and is still running the company even though he's in his late 70s. His company is everything to him. He spent decades building it up (he grew up poor) and my father is going to sell it as soon as my grandfather retires and hands his shares over.

Me: Is that what grandpa would want?

My dad: It's not about what he would want, he's not going to be running things anymore.

I genuinely don't know what my grandpa did to have a son like that. He loves him, disciplined him in a fair manner, and always stood up for him. And my dad is one of the most manipulative and spiteful men ever. But only towards other men. He simps for women.

I do think my dad will get hit with Karma when he's old though because my sister is likely going to treat him exactly how he treats his father and he will refuse to see it until it's too late since she's a woman
