I somehow managed to fuck up nvidia drivers on windows once. Tried complete driver wipe and reinstall 10+ times until nvidia installer started detecting the card again.

WSL is windows subsystem for linux, it allows you to have a full say ubuntu installation accessible on your normal windows PC, accesible through terminal

just managed to install the drivers again after 1 fucking hour, turns out it was actually the cache and not the repos being down, silly trusting the stupid terminal, anyways fuck linux (and windows too)
