Well it doesnt work like that at all for men when looking at women. You being pathetic, unconfident, submissive and insecure is just plain arousing and cute and in a way that makes you more appealing for long term companionship as well.

have you considered making yourself more physically attractive? that's a big one that you're ignoring (likely) because you think it's shallow or w/e

e.g.

get a proper skincare routine going
go to the gym and focus on butt/thighs etc.
ask him what kind of hairstyle he'd like on you and take care of your hair
