All he needs is a father who cares. Why would a father allow his very own son to be out of shape? To have bad posture? Let him dress bad, have a bad haircut, even have no friends. But to allow him to mistreat his own body, something that is so easy to keep in check? I'm pretty sure kids like that one don't have a father who is willing to spend even 5 minutes per week with them. That is why they are bullied, bullies know no one will come to defend the bullied.
