I feel like getting a job in/fresh out of highschool is one of the most important things anyone can do in their life as a teenager
Not because of anything the job offers, but because they'll be working a minimum wage job with a 45+ year old that has been working there for years. It's important to see what kind of person you can become if you don't take life seriously.
I just can't imagine working at some grocery store as a cashier in midlife and seeing some 16 year old kid who was hired yesterday making the same amount of money as me.
