This anon is right. My sister and I were out in public around the 4th of July and my sister really wanted to comment on a cute shirt she saw another women wearing and took her like 3 minutes to work up the courage just to complement her shirt.

If you think your the only awkward person around women even women are afraid to approach other women because they scared of the women having some kind of public freak out at being approached

not op but i wish i could see from the outside if a woman is nice/awkward or the mean/overly guarded type. makes me afraid of trying to befriend women. my sis is like this too and she's my only friend. so yeah your sister's experience isn't that uncommon obviously.

I don't know how to say this in a non-gay way, but I think feminist types would have a point about microaggressions if they considered the male perspective of everyone everywhere considering men a threat or inconvenience at all times. Like, sure, people hold doors for women and offer to carry stuff for them, and it's insulting to women. But as a guy, people would really prefer you simply not exist, and it shows in everyday interactions. You can't even return an item someone dropped, man or woman, without them being standoffish or outright hostile until they see you have their wallet.
