i am a centrist woman (with a socially right wing, politically left wing lean) and i have dated both leftist and rightist guys but i have found that i get along with the latter better because we have compatible expectations in relationships while the leftist guy expects you to cooperate with his degeneracy

Fucking insane. Used to be if your gf liked the same band and/or weed you were practically soul mates. Politics were the thing old men shouted at each other while they mowed their lawns. I'm so glad I got to live through the 90s and 00s before this shit.

Women do not give a fuck what your politics are when it comes to dating. It is not a factor at all. It's like asking someone if they prefer to date someone who's intelligent. They will tell you one thing then not apply it at all. I figured this out while reading research about people's dating and sexual preferences. You really have to totally ignore any studies looking at what people say they prefer and look only at the ones objectively testing it. And from those I figure people don't actually have a political or even an intelligence preference but they say they do.

It's a dumb part of the constitution. Guns in 1700s were not as lethal as they are today. They had to be reloaded manually one bullet at a time.
If the founding fathers knew the average citizen could get their hands on a machine capable of butchering a 100 men army in 60 seconds, they wouldn't put that "right" in the constitution as much as they put the right to own dynamite and cannons n it.
