Do you have a meal that you feel sentimental about?
Back in high school, I was working late nights while also studying, and picrel became basically all I ate. It continued to be my favorite food into my 20s, even after I learned to cook. A toasted bagel with peanut butter, banana, cinnamon and honey. They make me feel so nostalgic. I'm having one right now with cup of coffee on a cold night and it makes me happy.

I was happy that McDonalds has those snack wrap things again. I used to get a double quarter pounder meal with a snack wrap.
>anon, that's disgusting slop, why the fuck would you give half a shit about that?
cause I got that meal at the McDicks on my way home from the shitty community college I went to in late '07/early '08, I had some retarded night classes and I'd get out at like 9pm and get in my dad's beat-up Honda CR-V, go get my burger and snack wrap, and come home. My parents would be asleep or close to it, I'd go to my room and get on WoW and chat with whichever of my frens were still up while I scanned the AH and ate my burger, fries, and snack wrap. They were pretty dire and shitty times for all of us, but I still kinda miss them.

thanks for reading my blog.

Peanut butter banana and honey sandwiches remind me of my dad, that's his favorite sandwich and I used to help my mom pack his lunch for work. You have good taste.

fried rice with shrimp sauce. my dad used to make it for me a lot in high school since we were broke and it was relatively cheap to put together. that was before our family fell apart and we all split around the country. i havent seen him in years and i still miss his cooking. maybe i'll go cook some up now, i don't even care that its 4:30 in the morning here. i'll probably rewatch sailor moon while i eat to compliment the feeling...

Pizza pockets, had them every morning for several years, during my NEET days. One cut into 4 pieces the other cut into 9. Ate the corners of the nine piece first because they were mostly bread and not hot. Then the edges, then the messy middle piece. Then the quarters of the other hot pocket. It was a science of eating progressively larger pieces so that they were cool enough to consume.

I stopped eating them when my dog got cancer and we shared the pizza pockets as our last meal together.

Home-cooked pasta with tomato sauce. My dad cooks this for me, it reminds me of the good time I spend with him.
