well if u do end up interested in playing w me make sure u make a character on the European server!

Either this one or Ren Firedragon from the Godz Order series. Maybe I should try with an easier gunpla kit since it's been a few months. There are hobby shops everywhere here so it should be really easy to find one I've not made already.

don't remember but probably did
iirc steam usually only offers you to keep games back to the previous patch to keep compatibility with shit like mods
so again, prob not

>do u have the whole periodic table in that game?
no but we have a bunch of elements, some fictional but most real
hydrogen, fullerene, graphite, diamond, then shit like neutronium, thermium, isoresin, etc.
>wut happens when u visit it?
first time, the rocket and any duplicants in it disappear for good and the game "ends" but you can keep playing
subsequent visits, nothing happens i think

slow-ish workday. i lied before, i didn't take it easy on monday like i said i would. i ended up looking for/working on more scholarships instead. at least i got more done than i would have on my average day. on another note my favorite podcaster made his last episode! i'm bummed out about it but i still have tons of episodes i haven't listened to. do you guys listen to podcasts?
how's everyone's day going?
also, has anyone ever had braces here? im getting mine removed in two weeks and im a tad nervous about it. does it hurt or is it just a feeling of pressure? i keep seeing mixed answers online

looks like ONI isn't one of those, just checked

>what do the ficitional ones do?
it all depends on the mat
neutronium is indestructible, serves as map boundaries
thermium is an alloy of niobium and tungsten, used for extreme heat applications as it adds +900c overheat capacity to a machine constructed with it and has an extremely high melting point, and the best thermal conductivity in the game
isoresin is sap from a grumpy tree (experiment 52B)

>what happens when the game ends?
you get a "you win" screen and keep on playing, that's it
game never truly "ends"

Meow, yuyuko update... I am sorry for missing any replies. I went to a convention, got some cute merchandise, and cried when I got home. Miserable, cursed experience... In the meantime, I have been dealing with a bug infestation tha,t while I've tried my best to fight on my own, probably really just needs an exterminator, which I can't afford right now... So I just desperately clean and suffer. (my legs look like they have chicken pox desu)

I had braces all throughout elementary and middle school. Getting them removed, for me, was sort of like this release of pressure. I kind of miss them, though. I was up and down all morning taking care of my wifes grandma who is literally on her death bed helping her pee and poo and wipe her butt. Lots of butler work but at least I am getting paid to do it so I cannot complain all that much. my teeth weren't so bad either, just a bit of spacing too. however it still made feel self-conscious, when i smiled i would actively try to make sure it was a closed mouthed one or when i laughed i would put my hand over my mouth so that my teeth weren't visible. although, when i first got my braces my self-consciousness shifted over to the fact that i have braces haha talk about irony. so i still kept hiding my teeth when i smiled/laughed
these days it doesn't bother me anymore, i smile without thinking too much about it. then again i don't have the spaces like i used to lol. but i never kicked the hand covered laugh habit

thank you for the insight, i hope the removal goes quick. i think bunny teeth are cute, don't feel discouraged. but i totally understand what you mean, my teeth used to make me feel self-conscious too, read above. it's too bad that your teeth didn't correct in the way you wanted them to! especially after that many years, i got mine when i was 16. i'm not sure if i'll miss my braces once they're gone. but i do know that i miss popcorn haha i think it'll be one of the first things i eat once they're off
sorry to hear that you're dealing with a bug infestation. what are they, fleas? do you think that the person you're subletting from would let you use a bug fogger? if not, food grade diatomaceous earth could help too! it's fairly cheap, easy to clean and doesn't smell. if the room has a floor instead of carpet, mopping with hot boiling water kills them off too, their eggs as well. consistency is key

I opted into it, this is the 3rd month I've been on this injectable. My doctors appointment is in three weeks from now, and so I can't make any changes regarding this upcoming inejection. The reason I decided to take it is because its convenient and it helped me get out of the insanity I found myself in. >kobolds suck, dragons do fucking nothing and I can't use them in my armies

Seriously, in fantasy fiction whenever Dwarves get too greedy the problem is usually that it brings about demons or dragons, it's not that your whole country suddenly gets extremely corrupted and you have to spend immense amounts of money to fix it. It's a punishment for doing well(and you get baited into it with a stupid fucking 12.5k gold requirement to continue expanding digs) and anyone would assume that a "Hoardcurse" is going to punish you for having too much gold, not REQUIRE you to hoard gold to survive it. I spent all of my money for years just upgrading all my provinces. You know, not hoarding gold, and all that did was put me in an even bigger debt since loans and event payments are based on income.

That said, I do like the genocide mechanics :)(although I have my nitpicks on it). Sorry for vanishing for a few days. Also the Kobold missions to integrate humans, halflings and gnomes are fucking stupid. Why would I want to integrate them when I can replace them? >B^(

Also, nice borgar.

Also, it occurred to me that I forgot to post about dealin' with the bug issue. Terpenes and terpenoids are great for pest control and often have wonderful, pleasant smells to us since we have defective genes for certain bitter receptors. Menthol, what makes mint minty is a terpenoid for example and pine scent has terpenes in it. Tea tree oil too should have both and turpentine is even more potent and not so oily. If you use turpentine though to get rid of something like bed bugs, lice or fleas then you should make sure you dilute it(most important in the case of lice on you, but you can be less dilute to your clothes but bleach and stuff works fine in that case too. Realistically you'd use the turpentine for killing off flea eggs on the floor and bed bug eggs on/in a bed.). Generally though insects have and avoid the smell of terpenes and terpenoids, most animals in general will too actually. My dog for example hates basil, he's knocked a basil leaf I had him smell out of my hand after gagging.

For the kobolds, anything that wasn't a kobold(until I had to integrate with what little gnomes were left for mission progress). For the dorfs all of the greenskins. It's super useful because it's basically free culture and religious conversion in provinces you haven't even fully cored in a lot of cases. The problem is the hit to dip rep and the devastation/unrest it gives but I can handle that no problem.
>Iirc it's becuz kobalds want 2 b frenly w eburynyan and b recognized as a nation or smth like that

Diamond dorfs are pretty strong, but their position kind of sucks. Sareyand and Ilmare or whatever the fuck are pains in the ass. Diamond dorfs are actually probably the best for forming the empire, since they're right near the center, it's just hard to beat up the powers who want to bust down into your mountain.
> left the minorities there
>just like real america!
'Guya, I have some bad news for you... We committed genocide on the native Americans multiple times over. They also would massacre people, but a lot of America's history with the natives is basically they raid and scalp and kill people when they're not just trading and then we'd come in and force them to move. Also the whole trail of tears thing. This country used to be almost 90% white, with the like the vast majority of people who weren't white being blacks and even then the man who freed them wanted to send them to Liberia. Sadly, he flew too close to the sun.

Gotta work on the root of the problem. Hopefully the addict-like behavior is putting you off from it. The more you drink too, the more you'll be reliant on it. Anonymous No.82825305 >>82825516

Well usually you'd get exposed to bromine from like a water park. Places like that use bromine to sterilize their waters because it's less irritating compared to chlorine. Bromine does fuck with your body though and it's in the same group as iodine, but it's heavier. Usually heavier elements in a group are more hazardous for your health or are likely to be a lingering toxin(or heavy metal). Nitrogen and phosphorus are both life essential, but after them in the pnictogens is arsenic and antimony. Bismuth should in theory be toxic too, but it has a low solubility in water, which seems to be its saving grace(and why it'll be used for stuff like pepto BISmol). I'm a bit skeptical on that though.

Pic related, it's this indigestion medicine. It had a whole slogan like "Upset stomach, diarrhea, something something" for it too. Hadn't heard of that, actually. Apparently a relative of it is here in Florida and is also used for digestive issues, as well as wound treatment though: https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/131548-Maytenus-phyllanthoides

Apparently the common English name for that group is the "Koko trees", which is confusing since that sounds similar to how we might say cocoa, as in chocolate. Also apparently it was changed from Monteverdia to Maytenus ilicifolia again? Or at least that's what its been set to on inaturalist, so I assume some very recent changes caused that. It's all confusing. Monteverdia is a nicer genus name though, best I understand it'd mean "young mountain". That or "green mountain".

Hope you enjoyed the video too! I honestly think making some really cool metal crystal patterns is more than possible now adays. You can then mesh them together in a vacuum too via cold welding, which is a major problem for space applications as I'm sure you're already aware B^).

Hope you enjoy. They're pretty cool and normally something like Geobacter uses metal oxides to respire. Since all life is basically just making ATP from charge differentials between in the inside and outside of the cell, the electric bacteria like Geobacter can basically shift electrons around through conductive wires in order to synthesize ATP. For Geobacter they'll oxidize something like iron and they were looked into for uranium decontamination in groundwater as all you need to do is pump one of their foodstuffs, acetate, into the groundwater and they'll turn soluble uranium ions into insoluble ones.

Because it's a beautiful golden color and is a liquid near room temperature :). It can also be used to make some incredibly dense, salty solutions. Caesium fluoride solution is supposed to have a density somewhere between 4-5 g/cc when saturated. That's denser than most rocks, denser even than titanium potentially(I could never find specific densities for the solution, only for the solid form. It could actually be over 5 g/cc).

Osmium and Iridium are pretty cool also, definitely worthy of being considered precious metals. Are they relatable for being so dense? I don't understand.

>guy himself received 5 grays of radiation throughout his whole body and somehow survived, but later died of cirrhosis, lol
wew, how you get exposed to the radiation also matters. Internal sources of radiation are particularly bad, but something external isn't as bad. The cirrhosis, I imagine, was potentially done in part from the radiation. Cirrhosis occurs from just inflammation of the liver and scarification and radiation well cause that inflammation. That or perhaps the Stalker games had the right idea about drinking vodka to save oneself from radiation... Hmm....

>I suppose at more anime-centered conventions, you can go to panels and meetups more centered on your interests. Also, other smaller conventions have a more community feel to it, like you can actually talk to people and not be seen as an utter freak.
I wish i could xperience that

>my ssd is just kaput i think. We tried 2 plug it into a different pc and it wasn't even recognized
sounds terrible, really
keep it on you, and try to get that bootable media going, go on diskpart and see if it's there
something might've happened with the file system so the device may still be detected but no file system recognized so it doesn't appear anywhere
if that's the case then you can attempt a file recover and get whatever files you can out of it, then all you have to do is reinstall the programs

you sure? if going by a "list disk" then i think you only get the total disk capacity to infer from
make sure it's actually dead before writing it off, also, have you made no backups at all?

I was stupid. I don't need a homemade morningstar. I have quick reaction times. Boxcutter, or as we call them here, stanley knife, still a legal carry and still adds weight to my shattered right hand. It's not about doing damage, it's about threat.

Of course, always happy to share and help. Sounds like you have some experience with turpentine, but still be careful since it's so flammable and also toxic. Minty smelling air fresheners should also help keep things from wanting to come in too. Sleep well, but don't rot. You need that flesh if you wanna sing in the future, which you should definitely practice for when you're in a more comfortable situation.

How long until a new SSD arrives or do you have plans to go to the store to buy all of that?

The adults can be, I'm sure. I don't remember them being as aggressive before. I'm pretty sure I remember them being more solitary too.

Missed the question about Osmium originally. He uses it as a part of a catalytic system to introduce stereospecific OH groups. After the Os is then reoxidized by another component in order to avoid handling OsO4 in stoichiometric amounts. Whole setup is under inert atmosphere. Pretty neat imo.

Back from the kinoplex. That was a fun day out. Angel's Egg was very pretty and I'm glad I could have seen it on the big screen. Really nice cinema as well, reminded me a bit of the independent one in my old city. Would bring anons from the thread there if they visited.
Turns out they were showing one of my favourite films there when I was busy sadposting. Probably for the best that I didn't see it because I cry every time I watch it.
There's an animated movie made in HK called Another World that I might check out. The trailer looked interesting and there was a little cardboard standee for it in the lobby.

No movie night tonight, I'm afraid. Unless you guys really want one.

There were many pools there and a jacuzzi too. There's one thing I don't like about slides though is that the ladder that leads to them has to conquired with floaties on unless you like having pain in your feet for the entire day.
