Most thirtysomethings I know are mentally still in their 20s. I'm 28 and I feel like I'm fucking 50 sometimes.

I get why society is organized like that. Really in your 30s, you're supposed to be the one financing the entire thing and raising a family, but it's different if you're weird/have issues.

There are a lot of events for retired people too. Usually when people say "get into hobby groups bro" all of the stuff in my area that would fall under that umbrella would be for bored retired people or for nerdy teenagers. I don't really see very many events for people between the ages of 25 and 67 anywhere, though. Maybe I just need to leave Florida.

I'm lucky enough to have the same small circle of friends I've had since childhood. I don't interact with anyone I went to school with anymore and haven't really made any new friends in my adulthood. Zoomers are practically aliens to me so I don't really have any desire to hang out with them irl anyway but it's nice to see them here so I can still somewhat stay in touch and attempt to understand them.

Basically your life is over. You get set in your ways after 21yo and just repeat the same shit until you die, what you feel like now, is what you'll feel like for the next 50 years: same intellect, same charisma, same hobbies, each year getting faster then the next..
If you didn't hit those important life milestones as a teenager, I'd do it now while you still have a (tiny) chance.
