>do not get into an age gap relationship
>if not in college, start earning money asap
>put a decent amount of your earnings into a high yields saving account
>put a decent, set amount into investing into 3 popular and trustworthy ETFs and be consistent
>if in college make sure you're picking a major that has decent job security and availability, like healthcare
>don't be desperate, but try to keep your friends around and put effort into the people that put effort into you

Start investing in your retirement now, 10% of every paycheck into some sort of investment vehicle. Decent choices are gold, bitcoin, or bluechip stocks. Never sell, only buy.

Doing this, you avoid the typical mistakes people make in their youth, such as drugs, alcoholism, debt traps, marriage and having kids. People are dumb and by avoiding them you avoid bad influences. You also solve problems in life that people don't even know exist until they retire. Conquering boredom is important, because then you do things because you want to, not because you have to.

I started doing this at 28 when I got my 1st job. Now at 31 I'm at 20k Euro with 80% of it invested in state bonds. Went from a failure asking mom for grocery money at 28 to now being far richer than the average normie in my country, who tends to have no savings at all and a bunch of debt. Not bad for eastern EU. With what I stand to inherit, I'm likely going to retire at 40-45, here or in southeast Asia. I save 70% of my paychecks without even trying while living very comfortably. I exercise and game every day after work and I look/feel 7yrs younger than I am. Turns out being schizoid and avoidant towards women has advantages.

Everything will be just fine.
